A write-in candidate was elected as mayor of Northome in the midterm elections Tuesday, though who that is was not made available to The Journal at press time.

Jamie Skoe was re-elected as a member of the city council and through a special election, Emily Hallstrom will also serve as a member of the council, filling out the term of a previous member.

Mayor:

Write-in — 41 votes, 100 percent

City Council:

Jamie Skoe — 58 votes, 78.38 percent

Write-in — 16 votes, 21.62 percent

Special election for council member:

Emily Hallstrom — 57 votes, 90.48 percent

Write-in — 6 votes, 9.52 percent
