The class is open to anyone ages 9 and up. They are limited to 15 spots and will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.

According to a release, this workshop will be a “fabulous skills-building opportunity” for students to learn about Houseman’s methods and techniques in order to produce their own original creative works. Students can use a subject of their choice including landscape, buildings, waterscape, portrait or still life. Topics will also include research and composition. The students will create their own painting with assisted support.

This activity is made possible, in part, by a grant provided by the Region 2 Arts Council through an appropriation from the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the state’s general fund.
