While millions of Americans see Al Roker every morning on the "Today" television show, less people are aware that for many years he's operated a successful independent production company, Al Roker Entertainment, that is casting for people in the area to potentially star in their own show.
Al Roker Entertainment is now casting for new documentary TV shows and wants to hear from people who love the idea of starring in their own television series. According to a new release, applicants must fit the following categories:
- Independent / family-owned businesses - Al Roker Entertainment wants to hear from unique, independent and/or family owned-and-operated businesses that have larger-than-life personalities and talent to boot. Think youʼre the next Cake Boss or Duck Dynasty? Letʼs find out.
- Siblings extraordinaire - This category is for unique siblings. What they do and who they are is totally open: brothers in business together to sisters who share an obsession. You could be rural or urban. You might remind people of the Kardashians - or the total opposite. If you and your siblings have big personalities and are unique, Al Roker Entertainment wants to hear from you.
- Best of the best - Are you the best at what you do? Are you a rockstar of home renovation, or the wiz of a niche biz? Whether youʼre selling bridal gowns, or tracking down wildlife, Al Roker Entertainment wants to hear what makes you great - and why youʼd make great TV.
- Wild cards - Do you scream TV but donʼt fit into the above categories? Al Roker Entertainment will still hear you out.
