The 2013 Concert in the Park series at the Pete Peterson Band Shell in Smokey Bear Park is set to begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday with a concert by the Falls High School band and choir. The music continues most Wednesdays through the summer. All concerts are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
Beginning June 12, Falls Public Library librarian Diane Adams will continue the tradition of Stories in the Park. Kids of all ages and their families are invited to sit on the grass for a variety of stories by Adams before the concert.
This year, The Icebox Radio Theater will be firing up the grill and offering "Radio Dogs," a meal of hot dogs, chips or carrot sticks and lemonade will be for sale at most concerts to allow concert goers to have an option for dinner. Radio Dogs is a fundraiser for the Icebox Radio Theater.
