Falls Elementary fifth-grade students competed Friday in the fourth annual Newton’s Laws of Motion Sled-Off at Bronco Hill. Working in teams of four, students constructed sleds made out of cardboard and duct tape to study Newton’s three laws of motion. Even though schoolwork was involved in the project, it appeared there wasn’t a shortage of fun in sight.
