Put your paws up — an Emmy-award winning show is coming to town.

Arrowhead Library System officials announced last week that the Zinghoppers band will perform a free program for all ages at noon July 24 at the International Falls Public Library.

This award-winning, educational and entertaining show, according to a release, was developed just for libraries celebrating this 2014 Summer Reading Program theme, “Paws to Read!”

Utilizing state of the art sound and projection, the Zinghoppers band invites kids on a musical concert journey to the zoo where they’ll experience a lot of animals up close and personal. Along the way, there will also be a celebration of books and reading, the release said. Fun, fresh and fully interactive — this show encourages audience participation and patrons will be dancing, singing and zinghopping along.

This show will feature state of the art video projections on screen of the entire PBS TV show cast: Funky Possum, Olo Da Donkey, Coconuts The Kangaroo, J-Star and DJ Kitty — along with the Zinghoppy Dancers.

Created especially for preschool and elementary age children, the goal is to engage, educate and entertain.
