“Aidan & His Magic Wand,” a children’s book from author Christina M. Giles, hit shelves earlier this month.
This is the second children’s book for Falls native Giles, who still has ties to the community.
In the story, when the lights go out, Aidan is too afraid of the dark to fall asleep. Fortunately, he has his magic wand to help him stay awake. With the help of this magic wand and his wild imagination, he travels to faraway places, meets extraordinary friends, and learns that the darkness can be quite fun.
Readers can expect to find out how Aidan and his magic wand learn to conquer the dark and fall asleep at last.
Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
This is also an eLIVE title, meaning each book contains a code redeemable for a free audio book version from TatePublishing.com.
Giles is a seventh grade teacher living in Austin, Texas, with her husband, Jason, and two children. She will host a book signing July 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at City Drug.
