The Concerts in the Park series continues Wednesday at the Pete Peterson Band Shell with two Icebox groups headlining the weekly event.

Icebox Radio Theater is expected to return for its annual show, joined by Icebox4, a four-man pop combo lead by Pele Ugboajah of International Falls.

According to a release, Icebox4 will offer several original tunes as a preview for their own Wednesday concert scheduled for July 10 at the band shell.

The Icebox Radio Theater will premiere a new play entitled “Williamson & Juliet,” a re-telling of Shakespeare’s classic “Romeo & Juliet” set in 1970s Minnesota.

The evening begins at 6 p.m. with Stories in the Park for kids and their families by Diane Adams, librarian at the International Falls Public Library. Radio Dogs — a hot dog fundraiser for the IBRT — will be available at 6:30 p.m. The show is set to begin at 7 p.m.

There will be no live broadcast this year, but the IBRT will be posting the full program on its website at www.iceboxradio.org.
