The Icebox Radio Theater will hold its second radio workshop of the season Nov. 21 in Studio B-6 at Backus Community Center.
According to a release, this workshop will focus on the preparation and creation of a live radio broadcast. Participants will be cast to rehearse and perform a radio drama on the Internet.
This workshop will be divided up into two sections, one for adults and one for youth under the age of 15. The youth workshop is scheduled from 4 to 5:30 p.m. The adult workshop will begin at 7.
Actors and sound effects artists are needed for both. Both sessions include a full performance of a short play. Any young people unable to attend the afternoon session, or who prefer to attend with their parents in the evening, may contact the IBRT at home@iceboxradio.org or 283-5570 for more information.
The play in question will be five minutes or less, and will be broadcast on the IBRT website at iceboxradio.org. Visit the website for more information.
All Icebox University programs are free of charge. Partial funding for Icebox University programming is provided by The Marshall M. Knudson Family Community Fund.
