The 13th annual old-time Birchdale Pioneer Days, that took place last weekend, featured antique tractor and car shows, live old-time music and a black powder shooting activity. According to Soren Olesen, one of the event’s organizers, despite the hot, sunny weather and many other area events taking place during the same time, several people gathered in the small community to enjoy a weekend of fun for the entire family.
