About 60 people joined together Saturday morning to paint pianos for the Ranier Keys to the City program. Art mentorship was provided to children by members of the Northland Art Society. The three pianos painted on Saturday will be placed at Ranier Park, the dock at the Spruce Street landing and at City Beach starting the first week in June. The fourth piano was donated by the Ranier Recreation Club to the City of International Falls and it will be painted by the Backus Summer Arts program and will be placed in International Falls later this summer. Beginning June 4, free weekly piano lessons will be offered at the Ranier Park piano from 10-11 a.m.
