An evening of music is set for March 29 at Backus Community Center.
Area musicians will be featured in a Musical Showcase at 7 p.m. on the Backus stage.
Sponsored by Tuesday Musicale and Backus Community Center, the event will feature a variety of vocal and instrumental numbers. Local students in grades kindergarten through 12 will also take the stage.
Included in the program will be former Tuesday Musicale music camp scholarship recipients and local musicians. Instrumental groups and soloists will be heard, several accompanied and directed by local Tuesday Musicale and Backus committee members.
The public is welcome to attend the free-will offering event. Proceeds benefit the Tuesday Musicale Music Camp Scholarship Program and Backus Community Center. This activity is made possible by a grant from the Otto Bremer Foundation.
