Calling all young actors and actresses.
The Summer Arts Program is set to return to Backus Community Center June 9-14, highlighting a performance from the Prairie Fire Children’s Theater.
Led by professional actors, Borderland’s young theater enthusiasts ages 7-18 will have the opportunity to perform in “Sleeping Beauty.”
According to a release, every student who auditions will have a part in the production that takes the stage at 7 p.m. June 14. The community is welcome to attend.
Rehearsals are scheduled to run from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., June 9-13.
According to a release, Prairie Fire Theater’s “Sleeping Beauty” is an action-packed production with “something for everyone.”
“You are sure to have a great time rehearsing and performing with the professional resident actors from the Prairie Fire Children’s Theater Company,” the release said. “Come for the play or stay for the day and participate in our art program, too.”
