Life in a book

Mike Williams shows off his newly-released book, "Life at Kettle Falls," a collection of stories about his experiences at the remote Rainy Lake location.

The Rainy Lake Visitor Center will host  a book signing with local author and former Kettle Falls Hotel owner and concessionaire, Mike Williams from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Saturday. Williams will sign copies of his book, "Life at Kettle Falls."

The book tells of the Williams’ family life growing up at the Kettle Falls Hotel. VNP park ranger Justin Olson said, “Reading this book is like sitting back, relaxing and listening to Mike reminisce.”

Copies of the book are currently available for purchase from the Jefferson National Park Association bookstores at all three park visitor centers.
