Taking to the road with live birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates, the Minnesota Zoo is traveling to the International Falls Public Library at 2 p.m. June 13.
According to a release, the Zoomobile is expected to bring the community a variety of programs designed to educate and entertain. Zoomobile naturalists use live animals along with biological artifacts, theater techniques and audience participation to make each program dynamic, personable, memorable and fun, the release continued.
Zoomobile brings the animals right into the library for an up close and personal look. Some of the animals visitors meet include a great horned owl, ball python, opossum, tarantula, lizards and bugs from the rain forest.
The goal of the 45-minute Zoomobile program is to create a sense of stewardship and respect for the diversity and complexity of all life on earth, said the release. To accomplish this goal, the Zoomobile naturalists provide a foundation of information and knowledge for their audiences as they capture imaginations and stimulate curiosities about the natural world.
This event is sponsored by the Arrowhead Library System and is part of Kids’ Stuff summer programming.
