Falls reps visit DC
A week ago today, Flat Stanley from Jill Katrin’s second grade classroom at Falls Elementary School posed for a photo with, from the left, International Falls Mayor Shawn Mason, U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar holding Flat Stanley, Congressman Chip Cravaack, and Koochiching County Board Chairman Brian McBride while in Washington, D.C., at the Voyageurs National Park Day at the Capitol reception. McBride’s granddaughter, Gracie Bowles, asked him to take Flat Stanley with him on his trip.
