Flood waters have closed off access to the post office in Loman according to a release from the U.S. Postal Service Tuesday. Operations have been moved to the Birchdale Post Office until further notice.
Letter carriers will continue to deliver to Loman businesses and residences where possible.
P.O. Box customers and delivery customers whose homes or businesses can not be reached can pick up their mail at the Birchdale Post Office, 10424 Hwy. 11, during regular window hours of 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday-Saturday.
