The following people have been sentenced for aggravated misdemeanor or felony crimes in Koochiching County District Court.
• Michelle A. Crawford, 46, International Falls, was sentenced Oct. 8 for felony second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon.
She received a stay of imposition of sentence and was ordered to pay $260 fine and fees and restitution of $581. She was placed on five years supervised probation and ordered to provide a DNA sample to the state. She must follow the recommendations of a chemical assessment and must submit to random testing and searches.
• Jarrod H. Donnell, 23, International Falls, was sentenced Oct. 8 for felony terroristic threats.
He was ordered to 90 days jail and $1,225 fine and fees. All but 30 days and $275 was stayed on court conditions. He must follow the recommendations of a domestic abuse evaluation and chemical assessment.
• Stephanie K. Nelson, 30, International Falls, was sentenced Oct. 8 for felony fifth-degree possession of drugs.
She was committed to the Minnesota Correctional Facility, Shakopee, for one year and one day.
• Aaron E.D. Meyer, 23, International Falls, was sentenced Oct. 8 for felony terrorist threats.
He was given a stay of adjudication and placed on five years supervised probation. He was ordered to pay $150 fees and may not use or possess alcohol or drugs and may not enter places where it is being used or sold. He must complete a chemical assessment and follow the recommendations of a domestic abuse evaluation. He must submit to random searches and tests.
• Billy D. Hell, 22, International Falls, was sentenced Oct. 12 for gross misdemeanor driving while intoxicated.
He was sentenced to one year jail and $75 fees and was placed on three years supervised probation. All but 30 days of the jail time was stayed on court conditions.
• Michael J. Jones, 44, International Falls, was sentenced Oct. 12 for felony terrorist threats and gross misdemeanor driving while intoxicated — refusal to test.
On the felony, he received a stay of adjudication and placed on three years supervised probation.
On the gross misdemeanor, he was sentenced to one year jail and $75 fees. All but 111 days jail were stayed on court conditions and he was placed on three years supervised probation.
• Allan F. Connor, 50, Nett Lake, was sentenced Sept. 11 for gross misdemeanor driving while intoxicated.
He was sentenced to one year jail and $1,120 fine and fees. The jail time and all but $1,120 was stayed on court conditions and he was placed on three years supervised probation. He was ordered to serve 80 hours with the Sentence to Service program and ordered not to use or possess alcohol or enter places where it is being used or sold, other than for work purposes.
• Aaron M. Steele, 29, International Falls, was sentenced Oct. 8 for gross misdemeanor driving while intoxicated.
He was sentenced to one year jail and $3,015 fine and fees. All but 10 days and $515 were stayed on court conditions. He was placed on an indeterminate time of supervised probation and ordered to follow the recommendations of a chemical use assessment. He must submit to random testing.
