The following people have been sentenced for aggravated misdemeanor or felony crimes in Koochiching County District Court.
• Dale Bonnema, 56, Tucson, Ariz., was sentenced Aug. 23 for felony fifth-degree possession of drugs.
He was given a stay of imposition of sentence and ordered to serve two days in the jail. He was sentenced to pay fees of $1,500. He was placed on three years supervised probation.
• Donovan B. Lutgen, 21, Littlefork, was sentenced Sept. 14 for felony third-degree burglary.
He was ordered to 18 months at the Minnesota Correction Facility, St. Cloud, and $150 fine and fees.
The prison time was stayed and he was ordered to serve six months local confinement. He was placed on five years supervised probation and ordered not to use or possess alcohol and may not enter places where it is used or sold. He must submit to random testing and searches and pay restitution to be determined by the court.
• Norman E. Seegert, 36, International Falls, was sentenced Aug. 7 for felony fifth-degree possession of drugs.
He was given a stay of imposition of sentence and placed on three years supervised probation. He was ordered to pay fine and fees of $295 and follow the recommendations of a chemical assessment. He may not use or possess alcohol or drugs and may not enter places where it is sold or used. He must submit to random searches and testing.
• Trace F. Bartlett, 39, Virginia, was sentenced Sept. 11 for gross misdemeanor driving while intoxicated.
He was sentenced to one year jail and $4,120 fine and fees. All but 30 days of the jail time, which may be served under electronic monitoring, and $2,120 were stayed on court conditions. He was placed on three years supervised probation and ordered to serve 80 hours with the Sentence to Serve program. He was ordered not to enter places where alcohol is being used or sold and must submit to random testing.
• Victor Reller, 19, International Falls, was sentenced Sept. 14 for gross misdemeanor domestic assault — subsequent violation.
He was sentenced to one year jail and $3,145 fine and fees. All but 10 days of the jail time and $195 was stayed on court conditions. He was placed on three years supervised probation and may not use or possess alcohol or enter places where alcohol is used or sold. He must follow the recommendations of an evaluation and attend a treatment program.
• Russell W. Woodling, 56, Littlefork, was sentenced Sept. 14 for gross misdemeanor driving while intoxicated.
He was sentenced to one year jail and $3,125 fine and fees. All but 30 days jail and $1,125 were stayed on court conditions. He was placed on three years supervised probation and ordered not to possess or consume alcohol or enter places where it is being used or sold. He must complete a chemical assessment and submit to random testing.
