The following people have been sentenced for aggravated misdemeanor or felony crimes in Koochiching County District Court.

• Harold M. Hyatt, 27, International Falls, was sentenced June 4 for felony driving while intoxicated and gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation of license — posing a safety risk to the public.

On the felony, he was sentenced to serve 36 months at the Minnesota Correctional Facility, St. Cloud, and ordered to pay fine and fees of $145.

On the gross misdemeanor, he was sentenced to one year jail, to be served concurrently with the previous sentence.

• Dean M. Myra, 45, International Falls, was sentenced May 21 for felony domestic assault.

He was ordered to serve 18 months at the Minnesota Correctional Facility, St. Cloud. The prison time was stayed on court conditions and he was ordered to serve 100 days in the local jail. He was placed on five years supervised probation and may not possess or consume alcohol or drugs or enter places where it is being used or sold. He must submit to random tests and searches and may have no contact with the victim. He must follow the recommendations of an evaluation.

• Barry W. Olson, 44, International Falls, was sentenced April 26 for gross misdemeanor driving while intoxicated.

He was sentenced to one year jail and $3,120 fine and fees. All but 30 days and $1,120 was stayed on court conditions and he was placed on two years supervised probation. He was ordered to serve 80 hours community work service. He may not possess or consume alcohol or drugs or enter places where it is being used or sold. He must submit to random tests and searches and follow the recommendations of an evaluation.

• Ronald N. Omari, 29, International Falls, was sentenced May 21 for gross misdemeanor driving while intoxicated.

He was sentenced to one year jail and $3,120 fine and fees. All but two days and $1,120 was stayed on court conditions and he was placed on three years supervised probation. He was ordered to serve 80 hours community work service and 40 days under electronic home monitoring. He may not possess or consume alcohol or drugs or enter places where it is being used or sold. He must submit to random tests and searches and follow the recommendations of an evaluation.

• Jeffrey S. Fifield, 32, International Falls, was sentenced May 21 for gross misdemeanor driving while intoxicated.

He was sentenced to one year jail and $3,620 fine and fees. All but 60 days and $1,320 was stayed on court conditions and he was placed on three years supervised probation. He was ordered to serve 120 hours community work service and  may not possess or consume alcohol or drugs or enter places where it is being used or sold. He must submit to random tests and searches and  follow the recommendations of an evaluation.

• Joseph D. Stevens, 27, Littlefork, was sentenced May 21 for gross misdemeanor driving while intoxicated.

Hew was sentenced to one year jail and $3,620 fine and fees. All but 10 days of the jail and $1,120 was stayed on court conditions and he was placed on three years supervised probation. He must serve 40 hours community work service and may not possess or consume alcohol or drugs or enter places where it is being used or sold. He must submit to random tests and searches and follow the recommendations of an evaluation.
