The following people have been sentenced for aggravated misdemeanor or felony crimes in Koochiching County District Court.
• Kerry L. Kelly, 30, International Falls, was sentenced May 21 for felony stalking — pattern of stalking conduct.
She was given a stay of imposition of sentence and was placed on five years supervised probation. She was ordered to pay $195 fine and fees and must pay restitution. She was ordered to stay a reasonable distance away from the victim’s residence and to stay away from the victim while at work or while the victim is at work. She may not use or possess firearms or dangerous weapons and must supply a DNA sample. She may not use or possess alcohol or enter places where it is being used or sold. She must submit to random testing and searches.
• Dean A. Breneman, 47, was sentenced July 23 for felony fifth-degree possession of drugs.
He was sentenced to 90 days jail and $195 fine and fees. He was placed on five years supervised probation and ordered to follow the recommendations of an evaluation. He may not use alcohol and may not enter places where it is being sold. He must supply a DNA sample and submit to random testing.
• Michael G. Qualley, 27, International Falls, was sentenced July 23 for gross misdemeanor obstructing legal process — interfere with a police officer.
He was sentenced to $3,135 fine and fees and placed on two years supervised probation. All but $50 of the fine was stayed on court conditions. He was ordered to follow the recommendations of an evaluation and must submit to random testing. He may not use or possess alcohol or enter places where it is being used or sold.
