The Littlefork-Big Falls School Board Wednesday set the preliminary 2013 budget.
The 2013 preliminary budget was set at $4.79 million for expenditures and $4.78 million for revenues, according to Superintendent Fred Seybert.
Seybert reported the board agreed to set the revised 2012 budget at $4.6 million for expenditures and $4.59 million for revenue.
Also Wednesday, the board awarded bids for bread, propane and fuel for the 2012-13 school year.
The bread bid was awarded to J and D Foods of Littlefork. The amount of the bid was $1.90 per loaf of whole wheat bread, $1.80 per dozen of whole wheat hamburger buns, and $1.80 per dozen of whole wheat hot dog buns, however, if the hot dog buns come in an order 60, the amount is $9 per bulk.
The bid for propane was awarded to Ferrellgas in the amount of 92 cents per gallon.
The bid for diesel fuel was awarded to Co-Op Services Inc., for rack price amounts.
The board agreed to renew contracts for Christopher Bachmeier as principal, Frank Hand as technology director, and Pam Josephson as business manager.
“They are key people to assist with maintaining the excellence at L-BF,” Seybert said in an e-mail to The Journal.
