The Littlefork-Big Falls School Board Wednesday ratified a labor contract with non-certified staff.
The contract includes a 2-percent increase for 2011-2012 and a 1.5-percent increase for 2012-2013.
Also Wednesday, the board agreed to use money from a one-day bond sale to fund a number of building and grounds projects proposed by board member Mike Imhof. Superintendent Fred Seybert reported that on the list of projects is replacing the sidewalk on Main Street, remodeling the entrance area near the school’s main office, and pouring a cement floor for the newly constructed bus garage addition.
The board also Wednesday agreed to a $66,401 technology budget for the 2012-2013 school year.
Seybert reported that the board agreed to hire Rachel Helleloid as a high school math teacher at .64 full-time equivalent and Derek Bilben as the junior high softball coach under the tutelage of Imhof, who serves as head coach.
The Schedule B extra curricular contract was tabled until the board meets in May to allow more time for Chris Bachmeier, athletic director, to evaluate the contract.
