1. Go skiiing on the Tilson Creek Ski Trail.
Polar Polars Facebook posting Monday says: We packed and dragged the Big Bad Blue Hill Trail this morning. It will be a bumpy ride. Also tuned up the skate lane all over the place, every trail. Looks super.
The club has received a federal grant to build a bogwalk to gain access to the Tilson Creek Ski Trail in the spring, summer and fall which will allow the trail to be used for an outdoor classroom for students, biking, hiking, bird watching and trail maintenance.
2. Take part in the Rangoli Sand Art program, 10:30 a.m. Saturday, International Falls Public Library.
3. Find out what it's like to camp in Voyageurs National Park from 2-4 p.m. Sunday when park Ranger Lisa Maass guides participants through planning, packing, and experiencing a camp-out in the park. The program takes place at the Rainy Lake Visitor Center, where visitors may participate in camping activities, stories, and s’mores by a fire. The program is recommended for ages 5 and up and is free.
