Voters living in Koochiching County commissioner District 4 Tuesday will get a chance to narrow the field of candidates vying to serve as District 4 commissioner.
Walt Buller, Howard Davis, Dan Griffith, Ron Norby and Cory Norgart have filed to run for Koochiching County’s District 4 commissioner seat.
On Tuesday, a primary election will be held to narrow the field of candidates for the special election May 3.
Voters who live in International Falls’ West Ward precinct and the Koochiching Poll 4 precinct, which are covered by the commissioner District 4, are eligible to vote in the special primary election.
The commissioner seat, left vacant with the resignation Dec. 15 of now state House Rep. Rob Ecklund, will be filled in the special election May 3.
