The sledding hill and skating rink at Ranier is undergoing improvements before flurries fly and children return to the popular gathering spot this winter.
Improvements include new paint on the warming house, a toddler sledding hill, a hockey stick fence and gate funded by a grant from the Koochiching Community Development Association, and more.
Local artist Mason Wilson will paint a mural of children sledding on the fence alongside the hill.
