TAX AIDE APPOINTMENTS
AARP tax aide preparation appointments may be made beginning Jan. 25 by calling 283-5236. Preparations will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and from 1 to 8 Thursdays at Backus Community Center.
HOCKEY PARENTS' NIGHT
Bronco girls hockey parents' night is set for Jan. 24 at Bronco Arena. Senior players and parents will be honored in a ceremony prior to the game, with introductions after the JV game ends, about 6:45 p.m. Game time against Hibbing is 7:30. Cupcakes with the players will follow the game.
BOOK SALE
Friends of the Library book sale is set for noon to 2 p.m. Jan. 26 at International Falls Public Library. All sales are by donation with proceeds benefiting the Friends support of library programming.
LIBRARY STORYTIME
Storytime at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 24 will focus on stories about "Penguins and Polar Bears." Join in for about 30 minutes of stories and more followed by about 30 minutes of free play.
