Borderland Humane Society will host a BarkBQ event beginning at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Elks Lodge 1599. PINTS FOR THE PARK

Pints for the Park is set for 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Loony’s Brew, Ranier. Author Ben Goldfarb will give a presentation at 6 p.m. on beavers and will then sell and sign books following. Seating is first-come, first-served. The event is sponsored by Voyageurs National Park and Voyageurs National Park Association.
