GIRL SCOUTS SNOWSHOEING

Local Girl Scouts are welcome to a snowshoeing event planned for 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Voyageurs National Park, Rainy Lake Visitor Center.

CONCERT SHUTTLE

Rebecca & Kuba, the fourth concert of the Border Concert Association series, is set for 7 p.m. Sunday at Backus Community Center. The Veterans of Foreign Wars’ sponsored bus the show will pick up at the following times and locations: Hampton Court, 6:05 p.m.; West Falls Estates and Rob Ross, 6:10 p.m.; Rivers Edge Villa, 6:15 p.m.; Woodland Apartments, 6:20 p.m.

ETHNIC FOOD FESTIVAL

The Ethnic Food Festival returns March 27 to Backus Community Center. Local chefs, cooks and volunteers are invited to participate and prepare a favorite ethnic food or dessert to share with others. Anyone interested in sharing their culinary talents is asked to call Robin Bjorkquist at 285-7225 or email backusoffice@backusab.org by March 20.
