Volunteer Coordinators Network is for all Koochiching County organizations who work with volunteers as an opportunity to share best practices and information to expand recruiting, to better engage volunteers, and to further develop volunteer teams. Each meeting will be focused on a specific topic, and will offer opportunity to talk with other volunteer coordinators. A meeting is set for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 30 at Backus Community Center. BOOK SALE

Friends of the Library book sale will be conducted from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday at International Falls Public Library. All sales are by donation with proceeds benefiting the Friends of the Library support of library programming.
