As other areas of the state prepare to clean up from Monday's snowstorm, Borderland continues to experience spring-like weather.
The National Weather Service in Duluth's Facebook page was flooded with comments from people around the state Tuesday sharing snowfall amounts including reports of a foot of snow in Sturgeon Lake and 15 inches in the Moose Lake area.
Weather in International Falls Monday was windy, but didn't deliver a flake of the white stuff.
As temperatures continue to warm, the skating rink in Ranier is closed for the season.
“Thank you to everyone that spent time with us this winter,” said a post on the Ranier Recreation Club's Facebook page. “Warm temperatures have forced us to close Ranier Rink for the season.”
Temperatures for the rest of the week are expected to be in the high 20s to mid 30s, according to the NWS. A chance of showers is expected for Saturday.
