Here is something new for us at Paws and Claws Rescue.

“Abeeku” is a male rabbit who was released to be on his own within the city of International Falls along with another rabbit, after he was with a family for what he thought would be his whole life.

We do not know what happened with the other bunny, but someone saw that Abeeku was special and they took him in. And special he was.

He got along well with their cat and acted like a member of their family, however, they were not prepared to keep him so they called us for help.

He is currently in foster care and waits for a new home. He had a wellness check, nail trim, and was neutered. All we need now is a family to love him.

Once an animal has been domesticated, it is unwise to assume they can survive on its own. They have come to depend on people to supply its food and water so this bunny could have been in danger if not rescued.

If you are going to get an animal for a pet, please do your research and make sure that the long term will be a good fit for your family.

Abeeku is located in International Falls with PAC Rescue. Adoption fee to make him a part of your family is only $50.
