Off to the market
Despite Wednesday’s rain, the first day of the Community Market in the parking lot of Backus Community Center kicked off with six vendors selling bread, jam and other goodies. The market runs from 4 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays through Sept. 28.
