There are only a few things that really make the differance between a community that is a "Great" place called home versus one that is just another place where people sleep at night. Without these things being well established and based on sound Christian values, all else in the community will either eventually crumble or nothing else can be built, as there will be no solid and sound foundation from which to build upon. I believe these things are as follows: 1. Local government and its subordinate offices that represent the best interests and will of the community. 2. Employment that brings satisfaction, fair wages and self-respect to the worker and hope for the sons and daughters of these workers for their future. 3. Law enforcement and a judicial system that the community inherently knows is fair, responsible and just, without prejudice or motivated by any agenda other then the safty of the community. 4. A school system that not only educates our children academically but also educates them morally and ethically to survive the rigors of adult-hood and teaches them to stand up for what they believe in while respecting the views and rights of others. 5. Lastly, to offer a clean and environmentally healthy place with the widest choice of options with which they can enjoy their life at any age from 1 to 100 years of age. Now , without regard to whatever anyone might think of me, I would like to think that anyone reading this might contemplate these meager words without thinking there was any need for a response. I also thought Someday would be a good day to think about these things so I thought that maybe today would be a good day to start as lots of folks are coming home for the ACR.
