The Minnesota Vikings lost another game to a "lesser" team who stepped up to the plate to get the job done. Childress contemplated pulling Favre who would have none of it, he wanted to win.

While I admire Favre's determination, I question his underminding the coach, what kind of leader is that? However, I also question Childress's coaching ability. If you've got this kind of talent, including a very seasoned QB to lead, there should be nothing stopping you from going all the way.

Again, I witnessed my beloved Vikings play one step behind rather than one anticipated step ahead of a team they should have been able to beat. Just like the game against the Cardinals, they looked lost.

Julius Peppers looked like a man possessed, maybe Jared Allen needs to hang out with him for a while. Allen has been less than effective lately. Is his spark gone or are they just double and triple teaming him too much? If that's the case, that should leave someone else free to toast the QB.

Monday night Minnesota plays Chicago. I guess time will tell how the team answers to the big question, are the Vikings just getting lucky or are they actually good enough to go all the way?
