Growing up with a dad who was a "safety first" kinda guy it really sticks with you. Today being a rider in the truck rather than the driver, I couldn't help but notice the many homes that don't have their front porch shoveled off. I guess to me if that was the first and or second exit in case of fire I would want to make sure my door would be able to open now. Some doors that I noticed wouldn't have been opened even by the strongest adult let alone a teenager, elderly person or child. It's just a safety first kinda thing with me and I know it would have been my dads'.
