When you go to work, and most of us have to go to work, do you have freedom of speech? Well, the obvious answer would be yes, but that is a tongue-in-cheek answer. I cannot say whatever I want whenever I want because that is a violation of the rules where I work. Also when I enter my workplace, I have to go through a turnstile that restricts those that do not have a special card. Also I have to be very careful what I say and how I look at women at work even if I seem to be acting respectful and proper. It is all in the way they may interpret a look, a word or a gesture. It seems that they are free to make a judgement and with the pressure to placate them because of a long and obvious history of being unfair, a few people may get hurt, even possibly lose their jobs. I cannot yell "Fire" when there isn't one, and I certainly can't swear at anybody or I have to obey the rules and conditions of my work place, but if you really took the time to ferret out the reasons behind these rules and conditions, you may be surprised to find what is the true nature of this kind of freedom of speech.
