My 10 year old daughter has been trying for 3 months to find any hair/beauty salon that would willing to donate their services so she could donate her hair to Locks of Love and to tell you the truth not a single salon we contacted in Int'l Falls would donate 15 minutes of their services so my child could accomplish this noble and unselfish act unless we paid to have her hair styled.
This is such a sad indicator of where we stand socially and morally as a "civilized society".
I really didn't have an answer for her as to why nobody would donate a few minutes of their time without compensation to help her do such an honorable and unselfish thing.
Her hair currently on its way to Locks of Love as this is being posted and she will forever know that her contribution has changed the life of some unfortunate deserving child.
If there is anyone that is willing to donate their services to do the morally right thing please reply to my post. I'm sure your time will be greatly appreciated.
