I was just wondering why the Falls Broncos haven't been a part of Hockey Day in Minnesota that occurs in February? With our long and proud heritage in high school hockey, you would think it would be a natural fit to have something like a Falls-Fort game on an outdoor rink if possible and have FoxSports North televise it all over the world. Also, why doesn't the Falls Broncos have a website devoted to the history of the program much like the one that Moorhead has for its beloved Spuds? It is a top notch site that tracks players to college or the pros and provides links to a lot of interesting stories. They even sell a promotional item, a "Terrible Towel" of sorts that helps provide local enthusiasm and a way to fund hockey programs or needs. And finally, with Smokey getting new clothes all the time, why don't the Cubs get new threads from time to time? I mean, these are poor defenseless cubs, in the freezing north, without the same consideration as Smokey? Let us, perhaps, take our current assets and continue to broaden them to the rest of the world. Also, I think that the Rocky and Bullwinkle poetry/arts/music fair would be a niche event that would eventually grow into a type of thing that people would go to, seeing how it is so expensive to travel.
