Icebox Days 2009!

Hello! I'm a runner from Duluth who has wanted to run the 10k Freeze Yer Gizzard run; this year I finally have that weekend off and would be able to participate. However, I don't have a vehicle at the moment, and I found out that the Greyhound nor the Arrowhead Transit run buses from Duluth to Int'l Falls that particular weekend.

So I am trying to find some way to get up there (and back!) on that day. I would be willing to help out with transportation costs - does anyone know of anyone who would be heading up there on that Saturday morning (1/17/09) from Duluth between 6-7 am? I know the race begins at 10:30 am. The other question is, would anyone know someone heading back to Duluth from Int'l. Falls on Saturday afternoon (anytime; maybe around 3-4pm)? I'm trying to plan ahead as much as possible because the entry form has to be in by 12/20. I would really, really appreciate it if anyone can help me out! I've been to International Falls many times and have always loved the town and the friendliness of the people there. I can't wait to be able to run this race (and get the t-shirt!).
