To the editor,
With the election almost on us I would like to share several articles from my NRA magazine for October. I am not a hunter but do own a few guns and as a former American history teacher (for 33 years) some of the things which the Obama administration has already done smack of the actions of some of the tin-horn dictators of Latin America.
If he is given a second term not only will he and his cronies push through radical anti-gun laws that will pretty much end all types of hunting as well as ownership of most firearms and make ammunition for those remaining so prohibitive in price as to preclude their use by most people.
His bumbling dealings with the economy is leading in the direction of a catastrophic collapse on the order of Germany in the 1930s when money was made almost totally worthless. (The German Mark had gone from four to the U.S. dollar to something like six trillion to the dollar). Life savings and pensions were totally destroyed leaving older people literally out on the street and starving). The next event was the rise of Hitler and the Nazis.
Think before you vote Nov. 6. It is quite possible you might live to regret it.
