Mike Holden’s accomplishments are many. From wrestling coach to Little League to baseball and hockey coaching, Mike has demonstrated his dedication to children and his leadership skills.

In addition, Mike has worked as an electrician for the city of International Falls for 37 years. He has been a union steward and contract negotiator for the 49ers Union. He is also a member of the North Eastern Labor Board.

I have gotten to know Mike through the Koochiching Labor Assembly. He serves as president. He was instrumental in organizing the Labor Day picnic for the past two years.

He works well with people and is highly respected by all those who know him. He believes that people should be treated with dignity and respect and that all children deserve a quality education. Mike raised five children; and his mother was a teacher for many years. He has talked about the sacrifices she made as a teacher.

Mike’s primary goal if elected to the School Board is to unify the Board in order to make decisions in the best interest of the children in International Falls. He will serve with integrity and dedication if elected.
