Having been on off peak for many years now I find that the "off" in off peak means that the electric heat is never on. Yes we have backup which is propane but it's not the same. The electric is a warmer heat more like wood heat and that is the reason we went that route. It shuts off about 6 in the a.m. is off for about 4 hours comes back on for about 4 hrs. shuts off for about 8 hrs then comes back on about 10 at nite. Does anyone see it the same way?
