Where do you stand?
On the issue’s of hunting and gun control. President Obama’s newly appointed Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs czar Cass Sunstein is more than a friend of the President. For more than a decade, Obama was his colleague at the University of Chicago Law School. I personally hadn’t heard of Mr Sunstein prior to his appointment by the President. Did you? Time for a little research I told myself.
It didn’t take long to realize oh, oh this isn’t a good thing for anyone who was raised in the traditional sense that hunting, the tradition of it and believes in the Right to Bear Arms under the Second Amendment. It also didn't take long to realize that more than likely with this appointment they are surely going to be tested if not threatened in the next few years.
I found that Mr. Sunstein views the Second Amendment and the way we (most) have viewed it since it was written is a complete misinterpretation by us since it was written. In Mr. Sunstein”s interpretation of it we have no right to keep and bear arms and it’s time to ban hunting…period.
Mr. Sunstein's appointment and other appointments and actions by this administration lead me to believe we must have misinterpreted not only the Second Amendment but also many parts of the entire Constitution. But that’s another story. This is about our right to hunt and carry arms.
I know I rub some people here the wrong way at times, but when you think about it we all rub others the wrong way sometimes just because we are different. It makes us all unique from one another. I hope you’ll take the time to offer your opinion on this important issue even if I rubbed you the wrong way in the past or if your opinion parallels Mr. Sunstein's or comes at it from another direction. What do the hunters and non-hunters think? More below the ad, scroll down.
If you’re interested… I’ll let Mr. Sunstein finish in his own words.
