Thank you for this opportunity to introduce myself as your superintendent of schools. I was very pleased and honored to be selected by your school board as the one to serve in this capacity. I have a number of years of educational experience in Minnesota schools, 19 as a superintendent.
It pleases me to have the opportunity to serve the International Falls School District. I look forward to being a part of the International Falls educational community. Being familiar with education in Minnesota, the International Falls schools stand out as providing an excellent educational opportunity to its students and adults of the area.
Communication with our school staff, parents and district residents will be emphasized during my stay. I, along with the school board and appointed committees, will be working to get information out to all. We’ll do our best to keep the communication pertinent, informative and yet concise. It’s important for us that parents and community members know what is happening in our schools. A number of people will be involved in getting information out in a variety of ways.
I look forward to meeting and getting to know members of the community and would welcome a visit. My office door will be open to all that may want to stop in and discuss any educational issues and/or concerns about our educational system.
Hearing your thoughts may bring up an idea that may benefit the future of education in the area. We all want what is best for our young people and what better way to ensure that than by sharing our thoughts and ideas. Together we will move the district forward and ensure the success of our students.
