Thumbs down to the small town Daily Journal reporter who thinks he/she knew what it was like to work in that riot and criticized the police. The week was a sucess because of the police. No one was killed and minimal property damage (on a riot scale) occurred. Thousands of delegates and local civilians thanked police officers in the streets because they knew that they kept order for daily operation in the Twin Cities.

Unfortunately at this day in age, everyone "says" they are a reporter/journalist/photographer. If 1,000 anarchists are blocking the street (throwing fec*s, urine, rocks, etc at the police), there are also about 500 'so called' reporters in the street as well. The real reporters are peaceful even though they make it harder to move the anarchists off of the streets. The 'so called' reporters (just like anarchists) are there to entice police, commit a crime, and only show video of the police officers' reactions. Until you stand face to face to thousands of anarchists in 90 degree humid weather, while wearing riot gear, on hour 17 of working, on only 5 hours of sleep, while getting things thrown at you, then just stick to your local stories.

PS- Thumbs up to the many peaceful protestors that exercised their freedom of speech to try and make a difference in this world.
