I was wondering what others feel about ISD #361 not cancelling school today. It was -48 (wind chill) this morning and our children were outside -- waiting for buses or walking to school. I understand it was the option of the parents and it would be okay to let them stay home, but come on; JUST CANCEL CLASSES!!!!!!!!!
Is it greed or stupidity on the part of the schools??
Is it going to take some child getting serious frostbite for the school district to be more compassionate? What would happen to those kids if a bus broke down?
