Has anyone but history nuts been watching Burns "The War" on PBS. First of all don't poowho it because it is on a "liberal media,PBS is a fine network that may at times seem liberal but it is mostly educational and who can argue about that. If not, start, or get the DVD. I thought I knew everthing about this period in American history but wow,,a must see whether you are 10 or 100. Should be in some kind of curriculum, graphic but life and death and being human is graphic. And the music lends so much to the experiance. One thing that stands out is you see kids going off to war like they are today. I think we babyboomers always looked at WWII as "our dads, old men, going off to fight for what was right, not kids our age. Anyway, give it a look, an award winner for sure.
