Johnny Vedaa shows the 32-inch walleye he caught on Rainy Lake's Birch Point Dec. 14. While he declined specifics, he admitted to using artificial bait to catch the lunker. On Tuesday, Vedaa urged anglers to use caution on the ice, saying he measured eight to nine inches of ice.
