Pie donations

County Market manager Joe Truman provided supplies to make 43 pies to donate to the Salvation Army’s annual Thanksgiving dinner served at the Elks Lodge. Pies were made in the Family and Consumer Science classes at Falls High School with Marva Fairchild instructing. It was reported the students worked diligently to make the pies and considered it a privilege to be part of a wonderful event that has served many people of the community. Last year, reportedly close to 600 meals were provided for the community.
